Before you ask anyone to think %26quot;phylosophically%26quot; you should try some research. Nobody ever claimed that Iraq had the ability to attack Britain in half an hour. It was claimed (incorrectly) that with a 45mins lead time Saddam would be able to launch WMD-tipped missiles that could be used against Israel, Iran, Turkey and Saudi Arabia as well as anybody who attempted to liberate the Iraqi people from a truly disgusting regime. The reason the attack took place was based on a lie, but I for one am glad that it allowed the Iraqi people to escape from under a fascist yoke. Whatever the future brings, and that%26#039;s not much so far, at least it%26#039;s their future.





On your other points, terrorism by definition doesn%26#039;t need sophisitication. Terrorists only need to be lucky once, and the deficiencies of the US law enforcement agencies made it a lot easier. And of course OBL didn%26#039;t need to be physically present, or even create any detailed planning for 9/11, he just needed to set the wheels in motion and provide the funding. Nobody with any credibility doubts he did, especially since he explicitly said he did.
